As fellow bibliophiles, you will understand my excitement when I stumbled across this rare gem while enjoying a local book crawl this month. 

Mills College was originally known as the Benicia Young Ladies Seminary and was the first college for women to open on the west coast of the United States. Furthermore, it is the school my heroine is attending at the start of Sing in the Sunlight! How providential is that?
